ICU Nurse Job Details

Location : Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County)

Healthcare Setting : ICU / Critical Care (with float to MST unit as needed)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : Day Shift, 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM

Hours per Week : 36

Schedule : 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend & every other holiday required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / Critical Care RN experience

Active Compact or New Jersey RN license (required at time of submission)

American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Proficiency in ventilator management and basic arrhythmia interpretation

Ability to float to MST unit as needed

Flu immunization required (unless valid medical exemption with documentation)

No specific scrub color; clean and professional attire required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU

Monitor and manage ventilators; interpret basic arrhythmias

Float to MST unit to support hospital staffing needs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies

Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
