We are offering a dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join our practice in Annapolis, MD. Ideally, the incoming Physical Therapist has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with orthopedic experience. Additionally, the PT should be compassionate, patient-centered, and have a passion for helping others improve their physical well-being. Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to different patient needs and conditions are also key qualities. Finally, a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices is essential. Job Responsibilities :
- Perform new-patient and follow up evaluations / exams (primarily adults & seniors for orthopedic conditions)
- Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
- Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques / exercises ; track progress and intervention effectiveness, to include exercise, manual work, Class IV laser, shockwave therapies and decompression when appropriate
- Ensure smooth and timely patient flow in accordance with scheduled appointment times
- Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including but not limited to, daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress and responses, and discharge summaries
- Adhere to the company's guideline for billing of clinical and non-clinical services.
- Attend weekly team meetings and provider meetings for comprehensive care
