We are seeking a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our specialized inpatient and residential programs. You will play a crucial role in a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adolescents aged 12‑17. This is an opportunity to provide high‑quality, patient‑ and family‑centered care within a structured, therapeutic milieu designed to help young people return to their communities and thrive.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adolescents experiencing acute mental health crises.

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, formulating diagnoses, and developing individualized treatment plans for patients in our adolescent inpatient unit.
• Leading ongoing care management, including admissions, discharges, and medication management.
• Providing crisis intervention and stabilization for a wide range of acute psychiatric and co‑occurring disorders.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, certified alcohol and drug counselors, nurses, and educational staff to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
• Actively participating in treatment team meetings and engaging with families to provide updates, support, and education.
• Working closely with our on‑site East Mountain School to coordinate academic support and ensure a seamless transition for patients.

COMPENSATION

Starting Base Salary : $257,960

Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.

Geographic Location : Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and / or sub‑specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
