Chiller Technician

Star Service, the leadingHVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast, is looking for a seasoned Chiller Technician to join our growing team in the New Orleans Area! Do you have a proven track record of dependable service? Are you a team player proficient in maintaining and repairing diverse HVAC Chiller issues? If you answered yes, YOU could be who we're looking for! Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and heating, ventilation, cooling units for both commercial and industrial customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturers recommendations, and effectively explain to the customer the solutions.
• High-level attention to detail in documenting work performed.
• Communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors, and managers, as needed, to keep the company and customers informed about work progressions.
• Be available to work limited nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance diverse HVAC Chiller service issues preferred
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time
• Well-groomed, neat appearance
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights.
