Job descriptionYou will partner with the Director of Product Design to drive creations from concept to fabrication. Your primary responsibility will be transforming designs into precise, production-ready outputs by creating detailed engineering drawings and documentation using Autodesk Inventor and other CAD platforms. Furthermore, you will program toolpaths using Vetric Vcarve and help coordinate the programming of CNC production equipment while actively collaborating with both the design and production teams.
I am currently partnered with a long standing and leading exterior glazing specialist in Tampa.
They are entering a growth period and due to this a drafter to create detailed production drawings and assist in the coordination of of CNC equipment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in CNC programming, machining, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using CAD / CAM software.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.
- Solid math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming.
