role in their branch located in the

St. Cloud, MN

area.Reporting to the President, the Director of Pharmacy functions as the team leader for the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians within the pharmacy, overseeing each of these vital areas to provide overall quality pharmacy services.Main responsibilities in this role include :

Ensure pharmacy operations are conducted properly, within budget and with excellent patient care and customer service

Responsible for strategic decisions including appropriate staffing levels, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance

Provide the highest possible quality pharmacy services, leading the team to build exceptional customer relationships, quality assurance and customer retention

Develop and implement system and process improvements to provide unparalleled pharmacy services

Participate in the development of the budget and monitoring financial reports relating to performance

Review and improve inventory and prior authorization / refill processes

Maintain appropriate inventory and keep records as required

Develop and manage cost containment programs, including DURs

Manage human resources, including hiring, training, advancement and retention of staff

Requirements :

BS Pharmacy or Pharm D degree

Current pharmacy license in MN (or eligible to reciprocate)

Excellent leadership and communication skills with proven track record of building and coaching successful teams

5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced pharmacy operation. Experience in long term care pharmacy setting a plus.

Experience in Frameworks or QS1 preferred.
