Engineer IV

Engineer IV  with transmission line design needed to support our client’s team. This position plays a critical role in providing advanced design, engineering, and technical expertise for transmission line projects. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of specific experience in transmission line design and possess the ability to operate independently, applying advanced engineering concepts with minimal supervision.

Location : Hybrid (3 days / week in office or field)

Vehicle Use : Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise in the design of transmission lines, including route selection, cost estimation, structural and foundation design, and electrical layout.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best engineering practices.
• Manage complex design challenges with limited supervision, modifying plans to address construction, environmental, and public considerations.
• Collaborate with project teams to support project planning, estimating, execution, and monitoring.
• Prepare accurate and detailed engineering packages, reports, calculations, and documentation.
• Provide construction support, troubleshooting, and on-site technical assistance.
• Identify issues, develop innovative solutions, and make sound engineering recommendations.
• Lead or participate in engineering studies and implement improvements to design standards and procedures.
