As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, working under the guidance of our Imaging Services Director and Chief of Diagnostic Imaging. Your expertise will help physicians diagnose diseases and injuries, all while ensuring the highest quality of patient care through safe and efficient processes.

What You'll Do :

In this dynamic role, you will :

• Conduct specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Use your excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients, easing their anxieties and ensuring cooperation.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Adjust immobilization devices for optimal imaging views as requested by physicians.
• Determine exposure factors based on patient specifics and imaging requirements.
• Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms.
• Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.
• Process and prepare images for review by radiologists or requesting physicians.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Train new hires and students, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Fill in for the Supervising Radiology Technologist as needed.
• Take on additional related duties as necessary.

Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California)
