At BarkleyOKRP, the Designer is a student of design in all its forms. The Designer develops cohesive solutions that are on trend culturally and aligned with BarkleyOKRP’s branding for clients.

The ideal Designer executes work at a high standard, employing skills across multiple mediums to produce distinctive and memorable work.

They manage daily and long-term assignments under the guidance of Design Directors / Associate Design Directors and collaborate with writers and other disciplines such as experience, innovation, video, and motion.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit impeccable design sense and a discerning eye
• Push boundaries of imagery, typography, color, pattern, and texture to build compelling design systems
• Understand the business case and strategy for each project, considering the client’s industry
• Stay aware of visual trends, technological advances, and cultural nuances in design
• Seek opportunities to disrupt the visual landscape through great ideas
• Think beyond static designs to motion, interaction, and experience design
• Collaborate effectively with team members on daily tasks
• Prioritize work and manage time effectively for short and long-term needs
• Own the material application of design ideas across various executions
• Ensure quality and proofing before final production, seeing work through to completion under guidance
