Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience in coronary and peripheral procedures and current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in an acute care hospital cath lab

Daily caseload is 8-12 procedures focusing on coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and permanent pacemaker implants

Epic is used for charting and proficiency is required

Day shifts : 4x10 hours from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Call is required but weekends are not

No floating within the facility or to affiliates required during this assignment

Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities in the state if needed

Performs coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as permanent pacemaker placements

Must complete approximately 30 hours of on-site orientation and pre-employment modules

All requested time off must be approved before consideration

Candidates accepted from within 50 miles of the facility are considered local

Returning employees must wait at least 3 months before being eligible to return as a traveler

Free parking is provided on the first day with ongoing assignment parking arrangements

Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist

Valid ARRT, Fluoro Permit (pending considered if already applied), BLS, and ACLS certifications required

RCIS is not accepted in lieu of ARRT

Must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in comparable settings

Proficiency with Epic EMR is required

Holiday coverage required for at least 2 of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year

Valid CA license required if applicable
