American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience in coronary and peripheral procedures and current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care hospital cath labDaily caseload is 8-12 procedures focusing on coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and permanent pacemaker implantsEpic is used for charting and proficiency is requiredDay shifts : 4x10 hours from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PMCall is required but weekends are notNo floating within the facility or to affiliates required during this assignmentScrubs provided for Cath Lab staffTravelers may be expected to float between sister facilities in the state if neededPerforms coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures as well as permanent pacemaker placementsMust complete approximately 30 hours of on-site orientation and pre-employment modulesAll requested time off must be approved before considerationCandidates accepted from within 50 miles of the facility are considered localReturning employees must wait at least 3 months before being eligible to return as a travelerFree parking is provided on the first day with ongoing assignment parking arrangements\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as a Cath Lab TechnologistValid ARRT, Fluoro Permit (pending considered if already applied), BLS, and ACLS certifications requiredRCIS is not accepted in lieu of ARRTMust provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in comparable settingsProficiency with Epic EMR is requiredHoliday coverage required for at least 2 of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New YearValid CA license required if applicable\n Benefits\n
