The Opportunity

The Medical Assistant works to ensure the highest quality virtual care experience for our members and clinical team. In conjunction with other clinicians, the Medical Assistant contributes to products and services that relate to the delivery of efficient virtual care to Teladoc Health members.

An active Medical Assistant license / certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities

Administrative Duties include :

Reviewing intake records for completeness

Transfer information to Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Scheduling appointments

Assessing video readiness

Communication with other health care team members

Communication with members

Maintain health information in compliance with corporate and federal regulations

Others duties as assigned

Clinical Duties include :

Taking full history including medications

Documenting biometric screenings

Identify preventative measures needed

EHR chart preparation prior to visit

Assist nursing staff in preparing care plans

Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service experience required

EHR experience preferred

Video conferencing experience preferred

Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft software

Strong time management skills

Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team

Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environment in a growing company

2+ years of college preferred

LPN / LVN, Nursing Student training helpful

Qualifications Required for Position

An active Medical Assistant Certification is REQUIRED

High school diploma required

4+ years Medical Assistant Experience required

The base salary range for this position is $20 / hr - $22 / hr. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here : Teladoc Health Benefits 2025 .Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
