Commercial Carpenter

We are seeking skilled Commercial Carpenters to work on projects involving installation of steel stud framing, drop ceilings, doors, windows, acoustical ceilings, and more. This opening is for a large and well established General Contractor that has projects throughout Long Island and NYC. All projects are commercial new construction or renovation projects.

Responsibilities :

• Work on carpentry projects focusing on steel stud framing, drop ceilings, and acoustical ceilings.
• Install doors, windows, and other necessary components with accuracy and precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Ensure the proper use of tools such as hammers, tool belts, carpentry hand tools, speed squares, torpedo levels, and cordless drills.
• Maintain a productive work environment by following directions precisely and adhering to project timelines.
• Enforce safety protocols, including the constant use of PPE and adherence to site regulations.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following :
