Job Title : Registered Nurse - Dialysis (Travel Contract)

Location : Seneca Ridge Dialysis, 370 E Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY 14621

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift Type : 8-hour Day Shifts (8 AM - 5 PM)

Job Description :

The Registered Nurse - Dialysis will be responsible for providing quality care to patients undergoing hemodialysis in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The RN must be experienced with home hemodialysis, and should be able to work independently while being adaptable, flexible, and dependable. This role will require strong communication skills and collaboration with the dialysis team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities :

• Perform patient assessments, implement care plans, and manage dialysis treatment using the NxStage system.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and respond to adverse reactions or complications.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, home care techniques, and medical equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and best practices in dialysis care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
• Rotate weekend shifts and float to other dialysis locations as needed.
