Professional Administrator
Robert Half is seeking a professional administrator to support a school principal for a client in Monmouth County.
The Secretary provides comprehensive administrative support to the school Principal, ensuring efficient office operations and facilitating communication between staff, students, parents, and external parties. This position requires excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.
Key responsibilities include :
- Managing the Principal's calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings and events.
- Preparing, proofreading, and distributing correspondence, memos, and reports on behalf of the Principal.
- Screening and routing phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing information or directing requests as appropriate.
- Maintaining and organizing confidential files, records, and documentation.
- Assisting with tracking deadlines, important dates, and school activities.
- Helping facilitate communication across faculty, staff, parents, students, and district administrators.
- Preparing meeting agendas and minutes for school leadership meetings.
- Supporting workflow automation or digital initiatives as directed.
- Ordering office supplies and managing inventory for the Principal's office.
- Performing data entry and basic reporting using school information systems or CRM platforms.
- Supporting school safety and emergency protocols as needed.
- Helping coordinate special projects or events led by the Principal.
