We are currently seeking a Bin Erector to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining grain bins and related steel structures according to company specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have experience with construction or metal fabrication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience Requirements
- General knowledge of crane operation and associated lifting devices.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to utilize various hand tools safely.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills required.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred but not required.A Valid Driver’s License is required.Attention to detail required.Must follow all safety rules supported by the company.Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.Ability to work within other physical requirements for position (i.e. stand / walk for duration of scheduled shift, bend / stoop as needed, and climb stairs and / or ladders when needed).Self-motivated with ability to work under limited general supervision.Basic math skills required.Manual dexterityAbility to do repetitive tasksSkills
The Bin Erector will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of grain bin construction and installation in the Midwest, which may include concrete work.
Erection and construction of grain bins.Installation of bin accessories.Onsite fabrication.Assist concrete crew as needed.Read blueprints accurately.Utilize measuring tools correctly.Ensure staging of raw materials is in place for the workday.Handle material efficiently and safely.Inspect in-process and finished product for quality. Adjusting resources as needed.Responsible for tracking tooling and reporting needs or replacements.Education Requirements
Ability to follow operating instructions as outlined.Previous experience preferred.
