Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts; every third weekend; holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll provide care to a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative patients following craniotomies, AVM repairs, and tumor resections.Patients undergoing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Individuals affected by hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases.As a member of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you'll have the opportunity to work with leading neurosurgical techniques and advanced care.

Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans.Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.Implement risk-reduction strategies to enhance patient safety.Coordinate discharge planning with an interdisciplinary team.Evaluate patient outcomes and engage in shared governance activities.Communicate effectively with team members and patients.Encourage a culture of safety and report near misses or safety threats.Participate in process improvement initiatives.Engage in professional development activities.Provide age-appropriate care based on growth and development principles.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license from the practice state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Minimum of one year in clinical nursing preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
