Job descriptionManage a patient panel of 8 to 18 patients per day Focus on individual patient care with a smaller patient panel size Outstanding work-life balance and exceptional VA benefits No concerns with RVUs or insurance companies Opportunities for professional growth with ample personal time Competitive Pay : Based on training, experience, and local labor market Annual Performance Bonus : Up to $15,000 per year Guaranteed Salary Increases No Employment Contracts, Non-compete Clauses, or Restrictive Covenants Generous Leave : 26 days of paid vacation, 13 days paid sick time, and 11 paid federal holidays Paid CME : 5 days off for board-certified physicians Federal Retirement Plan with separate 401K (partial agency match) Health Insurance : Including optional dental and vision Life Insurance Nationwide Mobility : Relocate without loss of benefits, vacation, or pay Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) : Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment Malpractice Coverage : Covered under federal tort laws Licensure : 1 full & unrestricted active U.S. medical license allows work at any VA facility Board certification is required to receive 5 days of paid CME leave. This position is eligible for the EDRP, a student loan repayment program. Specific eligibility requirements must be met and the application submitted within four months of your start date. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000), and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office. The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) is seeking board-eligible / board-certified (BE / BC) Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians to join our Primary Care team. Current openings include our Phoenix 32nd Street Clinic, Phoenix Southwest Clinic, Scottsdale Clinic, and Surprise Clinic.
Work Schedule :
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible shifts : 5 / 8-hour shifts or 4 / 10-hour shifts, depending on the clinic
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties!
