Work Schedule : Monday-Friday 5 : 30pm-2am Sat / Sun 11 : 00am-7 : 30pm Working every other weekend
Pay Rate : $22 / hr (Paid Weekly)

Position Overview
The Pharmacy Floor Technician is responsible for preparing prescription medications for final pharmacist verification. This includes picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and organizing medications with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The technician supports daily pharmacy operations, maintains workstation organization, and follows all regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Pull and pick medications from shelving, prepack racks, and designated storage areas.
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan all products to ensure accuracy.
- Notify the pharmacist of any medications or products that do not scan properly.
- Assist with processing returned medications and recycling / disposal in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store them during low-volume periods.
- Manually package materials and products as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized workstation areas and replenish stock supplies.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
- Adhere to all departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Work overtime, holidays, or weekends as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to work at a consistent, moderate speed.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician License , issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy.Preferred Qualifications
Previous pharmacy technician experience.Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the day.Ability to sit or stand for 7-10 hours per shift.Ability to work extended hours as needed.Finger dexterity required to operate office and pharmacy equipment.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.Visual acuity for reading fine print; close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment required.Ability to hear normal voice-level sounds.Must be able to work safely in a typical pharmacy environment.
