Job description

DESCRIPTION :

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine physicians to provide coverage for up to 20 shifts per month on an ongoing basis. This is a Level 1 Trauma Center.

SUPPORT :

APP support staff in Triage
Full array of specialty backup with 24-hour MRI / CT availability
24-hour STEMI team, Stroke Team, ED psychiatric service

REQUIREMENTS :

Must have attended an ED residency program

Eligible or board-certified in ABEM or AOBEM

ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications required (AHA)

We cannot accept Family Medicine board-certified physicians, even with ED fellowship or experience, due to Level 1 Trauma certifications

COMPENSATION :

Competitive market rate (based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)

Malpractice insurance provided
