Position Description :
The Full Time Baker Position is for people looking for a career in the bakery business. Whether you’re looking for a steady paycheck doing something you love, or seeking a step up into leadership roles, this is great either way. A majority of shifts will be early morning and / or daytime, with a lot of focus on dough production and decorating while assisting customers. No previous baking experience is necessary, just a great attitude, a strong work ethic, attention to details, and passion for perfection. We have formal training programs that provide specific hourly raises upon successful completion.
Minimum Job Requirements :
- At least 18 years old (required to operate mixing equipment)
- Availability to work weekdays and at least two Saturdays per month (we're closed Sundays)
- Completion of Basic Food Handlers certificate prior to start date (short online course for under $10)
- Must have smartphone / tablet and able to use for required apps and weekly menu training
- No previous bakery experience necessary
- This role includes TIP SHARING as part of the advertised hourly pay, with a MINIMUM of $3.00 added to your base hourly rate per shift worked. This means if the total pooled tips for eligible shifts does not add up to $3.00 per hour, then we will make up the difference. Tip sharing is NOT capped, so if the store collects more tips than the $3.00 minimum, that portion will be shared according to policy.
