Job descriptionThin, Prune and Pick stone fruit (peaches, plums and nectarines). Recruits Field laborers to work on the crew Keep accurate record of employee hours, blocks worked and ranches on timesheets Follows California Labor law in recruiting / hiring employees, non-discrimination and non-harassment practices. Follows Company policies regarding no hiring of minors, no transporting of employees, etc. Verifies prior experience in field labor, particularly in stone fruit industry. Works closely with the Field Department to hire and train new employees. Travels to local ranches in the Reedley, California area for perform work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to cold and hot temperatures which consists of outdoor work.
