Vision for the Role :

  • The Lease Manager is responsible for administering and managing leaseholder agreements at the Lake campus (Subdivision) and overseeing staff rental and lease agreements across all Hume locations (Hume Lake, SoCal, and New England).
  • This dual-scope role ensures accurate, current, and compliant lease documentation while fostering positive relationships with leaseholders and staff tenants.

  • Leaseholder Relations – Lake Campus  Manage, update, and renew all leaseholder agreements for the Lake campus.  Serve as the primary point of contact for leaseholders regarding questions, renewals, and property use.  Track lease timelines and proactively initiate renewals or negotiations.  Maintain and update leaseholder documents (e.g., Standards of Conduct, Leaseholder Rules, policies).  Provide orientation and guidance for new leaseholders.  Screen and coordinate with new or transferring leaseholder applicants.  Resolve lease-related concerns, disputes, or violations with professionalism and diplomacy.  Support cabin rental and sublease processes in alignment with Hume policies.  Collaborate with Operations on subdivision maintenance (e.g., roads, tree removal, utilities).  Assist in mobilizing leaseholders for volunteerism and partnership with Hume’s mission.     Staff Housing & Rental Agreements – All Locations   Administer and maintain staff housing rental and lease agreements across all Hume campuses.  Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate agreements, compliance, and billing for staff housing.  Track staff housing lease terms and proactively manage renewals or transitions.  Serve as the point of contact for staff tenants regarding housing agreements and property standards.  Maintain records and databases related to staff housing and rentals.  Report on staff housing utilization and needs to the Senior Director of Operations.  Collaborate with Operations on maintenance and readiness of staff housing units.  Work Activities  Regular meetings and communication with leaseholders and staff tenants.  Reviewing and processing leaseholder agreements and staff housing rentals.  Coordinating cross-departmentally with Operations, HR, and Finance.  Tracking, updating, and reporting on lease and rental data across locations.  Our Ideal Candidate :   Maintains a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Actively participates in a local church community.  Demonstrates a Christ-like attitude in words, actions, and relationships.  Supports and upholds Hume’s Statement of Faith, mission, and code of conduct.  Models servant leadership and encourage others in their spiritual walk.  Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.  Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.  Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to handle sensitive situations with grace.  Willingness to adjust hours to meet the needs of the job.  Strong oral and written communication.  Active listening and conflict resolution.  Relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.  Organizational accuracy and attention to detail.  Property management or real estate background.  Customer service and relationship management.  Administrative and organizational skills.  Basic accounting knowledge.  Physical Requirements :    Standard office environment with periodic on-site property visits.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.  Benefits & Perks of Community Living :   Be a part of a tight-knit community of believers serving the mission of the camp.   Incredibly beautiful views and environment, camping, and walking / running trails.    On-site housing provided for a minimal rate.   On-site healthcare options and emergency services, as needed.   Dining on-site for minimal costs.   A quick walk to grocery and gas, as needed.   Salary :  $65,000 annually  Interested candidates are requested to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience.  If this sounds like you or something you feel called to, we would love to hear from you!  Powered by JazzHR
