This critical access hospital features a 10-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays, treating an average of 35 patients daily. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services with 24 / 7 physician coverage, respiratory therapy, radiology services including X-ray and CT, and laboratory capabilities. The emergency department operates with one charge nurse who does not take patients, house supervisor coverage during nights, and security personnel on-site around the clock. The facility serves both civilian and military populations, offering stabilization services for complex cases before transfer to higher-level trauma centers.
