Job Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of automotive printed circuit board (PCB) design, including layout, design verification, and post?processing. The PCB Designer must operate independently to create electronic PCB layouts based on schematics and design requirements, collaborating closely with Electrical Engineers.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and layout multi?layer, high?density PCBs for automotive applications.
• Adhere to mechanical PCB Keepout zones to ensure proper assembly and mating with other components.
• Liaise with PCB suppliers to understand fabrication capabilities and requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to produce manufacturable and reliable PCB designs.
• Work with EMC specialists and design engineers to incorporate electromagnetic compatibility and other design constraints.
• Apply best practices in PCB layout to ensure electrical integrity, manufacturability, and compliance.
• Manage ECAD library models to support efficient and accurate design processes.
• Review and verify PCB designs to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.

Hiring Salary Range : $80,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)
