We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Lead Software Engineer to play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software components and microservices within cloud architectures. This position is perfect for someone who excels at self-management (within a structured environment) and collaborates directly with our Research and Product teams while showing a strong interest in expanding their knowledge of new theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies.
In This Role, You Will :
- Collaborate with peers to design and code scalable, loosely coupled components and microservices for public and private cloud infrastructures as well as on-premises applications.
- Apply architecture and design principles consistently to facilitate the end-to-end usage scenarios.
- Focus on DevOps use cases and workflows.
- Drive decision-making through a clear framework and process.
- Analyze criteria and options, gathering necessary data to address key questions.
What You'll Need to Succeed :
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 1 year with a Master's degree; or a Ph.D. with no experience; or equivalent work experience.Familiarity with development and deployment across multiple cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, and OpenStack.Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, or C#.Experience with microservice architectures and large-scale API design and development.Understanding of service mesh frameworks (such as Istio), container systems (like Docker), and orchestration platforms (ECS, Kubernetes, Mesos, or Swarm).Experience in developing solutions with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or System Center.Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.Understanding of Linux operating systems, including processes, threads, scheduling, synchronization, memory management, and I / O devices.A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performing environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in cross-functional design teams to build expertise in various modules or systems.Strong organizational agility and interpersonal skills.Salary Range : $140,000 - $170,000 per year.
