What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or disturbances.

Maintain awareness of surroundings in a government location, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Document routine activities and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or the public, offering assistance as needed while upholding site security-related standards.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack are present.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
