Children’s Culinary Instructor & Classroom Assistant (Part-Time + Seasonal Camps)

For twenty years, Young Chefs Academy has led the way in teaching children the joy and value of cooking. Our hands-on classes inspire confidence, creativity, independence, and real-life kitchen skills. We are hiring both Lead Culinary Instructors and Classroom Assistants for :
- Weekly after-school & evening classes
- Weekday homeschool classes
- Weekday field trip programs for schools & community groups
- Weekend birthday parties & family workshops
- School Break Camps & Summer Camps

Positions
Lead Culinary Instructor
(Ideal for Teachers, Camp Counselors, Group Leaders, or Experienced Classroom Leaders)
You’ll :
Teach hands-on cooking classes for ages 4+ (classes range from 60-90 minutes)Lead field trips and homeschool programs using the Young Chefs Academy Franchise curriculumManage classroom flow and keep students engaged and safe while also connecting one on oneLead birthday parties, workshops, and special eventsGuide students in developing real culinary and life skillsFoster a positive, supportive learning environmentCulinary Classroom Assistant
(Great for High School & College Students Looking for Experience Working with Kids)
You’ll :
Support the instructor during classes, field trips, and campsHelp students follow recipes and use tools safelyPrep ingredients and cooking stationsAssist with kitchen & location cleanup and organizationHelp create a fun, welcoming, confidence-building environmentSchedule
We offer flexible part-time scheduling. Typical shifts include :
Classes :
Weekdays after school / evenings (approx. 4 : 30pm–8 : 30pm)Homeschool classes during weekday daytime hoursField trips on weekday mornings / early afternoonsParties & Workshops :
Primarily weekends (daytime and early evening)School Break Day Camps (Summer, Spring Break, Thanksgiving & Winter) :
Weekday daytime shifts (approx. 8 : 00am–4 : 00pm)Perfect for teachers & students with seasonal availability.
