Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a fast-paced outpatient clinic, requiring ARRT (M), BLS, and experience with SIEMENS Revelations and Hologic Dimension equipment.

Responsibilities

Outpatient clinic setting with a focus on screening and diagnostic mammograms

Daily caseload of approximately 55 patients, with a minimum expectation of 20 screening mammograms per day

Works with SIEMENS Revelations and Hologic Dimension mammography equipment

5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

No weekend or on-call requirements

Required to float to sister outpatient facilities as needed within scope

Charting is performed in Epic EMR

Candidates must possess excellent teamwork, communication skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Orientation provided on site, typically 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday

May be required to adjust shift start times if overtime occurs to prevent additional overtime hours

Scrub tops in any shade of pink or dark teal and black bottoms are required

All time-off requests must be submitted with the application; approval is based on facility needs

Candidates who have previously worked for the healthcare system must be separated for at least one year prior to consideration

Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate and must live outside a 60-mile radius to qualify for travel pay

All staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) if needed

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience

Current BLS and ARRT (M) certification required

SCRQSA (M) SC state license required and must be active prior to start (license required if applicable)

Proficiency with SIEMENS Revelations and Hologic Dimension mammography equipment is required

Ability to perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms

First-time travelers accepted
