Property Control Specialist

KBR is seeking a Property Control Specialist to support the inventory management of property and assists in the day-to-day operations of the Property area in order to deliver successful outcomes in support to the Human Health and Performance Contract 2 (HHPC2), and other contracts.
Responsibilities :
- Comply with safety, health, and environmental plans.
- Comply with applicable quality assurance plans.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Complete all assigned training and maintain required certifications.
- Comply with all applicable KBR policies.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Positively represent HHPC and KBR.
- Perform responsibilities associated with DD250 deliverables.
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable processes.
- Maintain and verify data in processing monthly reports.
- Maintain and verify data in processing quarterly transfers.
- Maintain and verify data in completing NF1018 reports.
- Process underutilized / excess government property for disposal.
- Process underutilized / excess corporate property for disposal.
- Interface with logistics and purchasing sections.
- Prepare documentation and perform data entry.
- Assist with annual inventory and reconcile corrections.
- Interface with NASA / JSC for final documents.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry standards.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships.
- Ensure that deliverables meet all quality standards.
- Provide periodic written status reports.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications :
Required : Bachelor's degree, plus 2 years' experience working in property / logistics / inventory management, or related field, or equivalent applicable experience.Required : Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).Desired : Familiarity with NASA FAR Supplement (NFS). Familiarity with JSC Forms (i.e. JF290, JF528, JF314). Familiarity with NASA Form NF1018. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) forms (i.e. DD1149, DD250).Skills / Training Required : Exceptional communication skills. Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Desired : National Property Management Association (NMPA) certification. Previous experience using Johnson Space Center (JSC) Electronic Document System (EDS).
