KPMG is seeking a US Manager, Safety and Emergency / Incident Programming within our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
- Provide consultancy and guidance in managing workplace safety and emergency / incident response programs supporting KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and emergency response best practices aligned with firm risk tolerance and budget.
- Manage risk management frameworks, coordinate with stakeholders (Legal, Talent & Culture, Real Estate, etc.), and develop training and awareness programs.
- Develop and deliver training, perform reviews, facilitate exercises, and maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- At least 8 years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response; experience managing global programs covering natural disasters, pandemics, active threats, etc., is preferred.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., OSHA), safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
- Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting complex issues, influencing, and negotiating.
- This position is fully remote within the US, with 5-10% travel; applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
