Neurology physician employment in Washington : Locum Neurologist Tacoma, Washington

Clinic-Based | 6-Month Contract | IMLC Accepted

Opportunity Snapshot : A well-established clinic in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist for a full-time, MondayFriday outpatient assignment. This position offers a balanced caseload, an experienced support team, and a streamlined onboarding process with EPIC training included.

Key Details : Start Date : ASAP

Duration : Up to 6 months

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8a5p

Setting : Outpatient clinic

FTE : 1.0

Patient Volume : 1315 patients per day

Support Staff : Dedicated LPN or MA

EMR : Epic

Orientation : Light patient load on first day with full EPIC support onsite

Reason for Coverage : Hospitalist model transitioning, removing ambulatory care responsibilities

Responsibilities :

Conduct new patient and follow-up neurological evaluations

Administer therapeutic procedures such as Botox and Occipital Nerve Blocks (ONB)

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient treatment plans

Complete charting and documentation within EPIC

Collaborate with onsite administrative and clinical staff in a team-based, pod-style workspace

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Highly Preferred

Active Washington License Highly Preferred; IMLC Accepted

DEA and BLS Required

Proficiency with Epic EMR Preferred

Experience with outpatient neurology and minor in-office procedures
