Details : Security + Schedule : Full-Time, 11pm - 7am, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays + Hospital : Ascension Bay Medical + Location : Panama City, FL

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
• Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential / actual security threats.
• Investigate, document and manage security incidents and hazards.
• Maintain knowledge / follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency / disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety.
• For those security officers who are responsible for operating a vehicle, operates in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration : Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Class D (Unarmed Security License) and Class G License (Armed Security License) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Law Enforcement preferred. Security Professional preferred. Education : High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences : State of Florida "D & G" License Ability to effectively read and write incident reports Florida Active Drivers License
