Respiratory Therapist, Union (Part-Time)

Located in the heart of the community of Washington Heights in Northern Manhattan is a 705-bed rehabilitation and nursing care facility with a mission to provide quality care through diverse programs and services designed to support health and independence to individuals needing short-stay or long term inpatient care.

Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator dependent or with other pulmonary needs including weaning under the direction of the Pulmonologist.

• Graduate of an AMA approved program for respiratory therapy (1 year program)
• Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory care
• NYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist Technician
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT)
• Current BCLS certification
• Computer skills sufficient to use excel, outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc.
• Knowledge and use of clinical practice guidelines and best practices
