Job description

Overview This role requires in-office attendance on the following days : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Friday is flexible and can be worked at your discretion. The Tax Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the Company’s income tax accounting and compliance. Responsibilities include collaborating with businesses, service providers, and tax professionals, as well as working with financial management and third-party providers. The ideal candidate should be analytically strong with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Manage the corporate year-end and quarterly income tax close processes, including ASC 740 and ASC 740-10-25 documentation and analysis. Prepare and review tax disclosures for SEC and other external reports. Assist the Senior Director - Tax in monitoring company policies and procedures. Review and monitor tax legislation for applicability. Support mergers and acquisitions. Review federal, state, local, and partnership tax returns. Oversee estimated tax payments. Supervise income tax staff. Build relationships within Finance and across the organization to facilitate compliance and tax strategy execution. Identify tax risks and collaborate with other departments to mitigate them. Support tax planning and strategy development. Assist with indirect tax compliance and other projects as needed. This description is not exhaustive; duties may change as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution. Master’s in taxation or JD preferred. CPA certification required. 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting or a large public company. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
