Substitute Paraprofessional Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking Substitute Paraprofessionals to support our educational mission by assisting teachers with classroom management and supervising students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending to the physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities

Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class

Support administrative tasks such as setting up equipment and preparing materials

Supervise students in various settings including the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and during before and after school programs

Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs

Provide support to students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs / 504 Plans

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
