Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple openings for hands-on Cisco Network Engineers on their MUOS team in Scottsdale, AZ. The Network Engineers will implement, configure and maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as switches, routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc. Also assist with the design and plan network systems, as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and department network administrators.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.
