Emergency Department highlights :
- The Eastern Kansas VA typically sees a moderate volume of patients in their ED compared to larger urban VA medical centers. On average, the patient volume in the ED can range from 15 to 25 patients per shift. This can fluctuate based on various factors such as the time of year, day of the week, and specific health events or emergencies. Our higher volumes are during the day during the week. We are a low acuity low volume facility.
