Medical Office Scribe Shenandoah Valley Orthopedics

The Medical Office Scribe is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and productivity of providers by performing real-time documentation of patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR). This role enables clinicians to focus on direct patient care by managing the documentation workflow contributing to a better patient experience reduced provider burnout and improved clinical efficiency.

This position directly supports Augusta Healths mission to improve the health and well-being of our community by ensuring that documentation is accurate timely and compliant ultimately aiding in the delivery of safe effective and patient-centered care.

Education Licensure / Certification :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Medical Scribe Specialist (CMSS) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent certification preferred
