Raytheon Field Engineering is anticipating an opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer. This role is suited for a motivated individual with an extended tenure mindset to serve as the sole source of support for the White House Communications Agency (WHCA). The position is located at WHCAs facility in Washington D.C. and involves supporting the WHCA Secure Voice Network (WHSVN) C2 systems and acquisition projects. These efforts are in support of the Command and Control Switching Systems (CCSS) Program.

What You Will Do

• Take direction tasking and priorities from the Primary or Alternate WHCA Delivery Order (DO) Task Monitors (TMs) to ensure proper focus is given to meet WHCA WHSVN C2 requirements.
• Provide engineering services on a full-time basis to directly support projects procurements and operations and maintenance to meet WHSVN C2 secure voice mission.
• Support each phase of the WHCA C2 / Special C2 mission project life cycle from planning design engineering acquisition testing operations and maintenance (O&M).
• Deliver comprehensive secure voice Systems Engineering (SE) services including support defense configuration and maintenance of information and systems. Ensure confidentiality integrity availability authentication non-repudiation and seamless integration with other devices connected to the WHSVN.
• Capture configuration baselines and support the management of baseline changes to accommodate mission requirements and system architecture modifications.
• Support operational teams during system upgrades installations network performance analyses and provide troubleshooting expertise as needed to ensure seamless system functionality.

This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSACAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
