POSITION TITLE : Form Setter

Location : Uvalde, TX

FLSA : Non-Exempt

Hire Pay : $18.50 per hour

Classification : Temporary or Temp-To-Hire

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking experienced Form Setters to support concrete construction work on a commercial job site in Uvalde, TX. Form Setters are responsible for building and setting up forms and molds to hold concrete in place until it sets. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of concrete forming techniques, carpentry tools, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

JOB SUMMARY :

• Construct, assemble, and secure wood or metal forms for concrete placement.
• Measure, cut, and assemble form materials using hand and power tools.
• Set and align forms according to specifications, blueprints, and instructions.
• Ensure forms are properly braced and leveled before concrete pour.
• Strip forms after concrete has cured and clean / maintain for reuse.
• Load, unload, and organize form materials on the job site.
• Follow site safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS :

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED : This position is supervised by a site foreman or project lead. Tasks are performed independently once assigned and may involve team collaboration.

WORKING CONDITIONS : Work is performed outdoors at an active construction site. Must be able to work in all weather conditions and in areas with heavy equipment and other hazards typical to construction environments.
