Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Availability for scheduled Saturday shifts and flexibility to cover weekdays on short notice. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Regular Shift : Every other Saturday, approximately 6 : 00 AM 1 : 00 PM On-Call Availability : Weekday coverage as needed

Job Summary :
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Part-Time Stationary Engineer to join our team and help maintain the safe and efficient operation of building systems in a downtown office building. This role primarily covers a 7-hour shift every other Saturday morning, with additional opportunities to fill in during weekday shifts when our full-time engineers are on vacation or out sick.
Responsibilities :
- Operate, maintain, and monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond to building system alarms, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs.
- Maintain logs and records related to system operations.
- Communicate effectively with property management and contractors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes.
