Payer Analytics Consultant

A company is looking for a Payer Analytics Consultant to join their Payment Strategy Department.

Key Responsibilities

Designs and validates managed care payer models and performs financial analysis to evaluate payer reimbursement methodologies

Conducts financial analysis to support successful payer reimbursement outcomes

Coordinates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve payer reimbursement objectives

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field

A minimum of three years of experience in financial healthcare reimbursement analysis; a Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience

Knowledge of financial modeling, provider reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare industry data types

Experience with data modeling techniques and business analytical tools, including SQL and Tableau

Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
