Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Pueblo, Colorado (81003) – Southern Colorado healthcare jobs

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 6, 2026

Setting : Medical / Surgical Telemetry, Ortho / Neurosurgical focus

Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (18 : 45 – 07 : 15), flexible scheduling

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 7 weekend shifts per contract

Charting System : Epic EMR

Unit Size : 28 beds

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 nights (may flex based on staffing)

Scrub Color : Navy

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Colorado or Compact RN license

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in medical / surgical or telemetry units

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification

Proficiency with Epic charting system

Strong clinical skills in Med / Surg, Telemetry, Ortho trauma, neurosurgical care, and post-operative management

Ability to adapt to flexible nurse-to-patient ratios and float to similar units or sister facilities

First-time travel nurses accepted with at least 2 years of RN experience

RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical, surgical, orthopedic, and neurosurgical needs

Monitor and manage telemetry, surgical drains, PCA pumps, and pre / post neurosurgery patients

Respond to rapid response and code teams as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Float to other med / surg units or sister healthcare facilities as required

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR

Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
