Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,306 per week in Kingwood, WV

Job Title : MedSurg RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience required License : Current RN License Certifications : BCLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred Must-Have : - Experience in a medical-surgical setting - Willingness to float, work weekends, and holidays, including Christmas - Ability to work in a critical access hospital environment Description : MedSurg RN for Acute Care required for 18-bed facility. Position involves working weekdays, some weekends, and holidays. Candidate must possess a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Certifications required include BCLS and NIHSS; ACLS is preferred. The unit cannot guarantee a blocked schedule but will attempt to accommodate travelers. Scrubs are not provided; candidates are expected to wear white and / or wine-colored scrubs. Documentation of Covid vaccine status is necessary. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to apply. The facility will consider applicants within 75 to 100 miles on a case-by-case basis. Minimum two manager or charge references from the past two years are required. Any previous probationary actions on licenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Candidates currently employed as perm or PRN will not be eligible for a travel contract. All required documentation must be submitted before the contract start. Incomplete submissions may result in delays prior to the start date. Training modules must be completed before starting and are included in overall onboarding.
