Job description

Associate Director, Data Operations

Gilead's mission is to discover, develop, and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As the Associate Director, Data Operations, you will partner with leadership to identify communication strategies to create communication programs that enhance sales engagement and increase field effectiveness.

Responsibilities include :

  • Manage the creation, development and execution of communication initiatives that align with business objectives and engage field personnel.
  • Maintain commercial field communication portal and calendar.
  • Communicate key operations information including maintaining and updating Field Operations Guidelines and conveying information via new hire onboardings, regional trainer meetings and other forums.
  • Maintain and update vendor credentialing and exhibit portals.
  • Coordinate jurisdictional professional licensures for field personnel in partnership with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Assists with execution of Commercial Effectiveness work including Sales Effectiveness studies, Sales Goals & Objectives Refinement and field coaching platform.

Knowledge required :

  • Advanced project management skills enable ability to execute many projects with tight deadlines : strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Superior communications skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both verbally and in writing are required.
  • Ability to work with and coordinate demands from multiple internal customers.
  • Ability to analyze critically and objectively to define and solve problems and to identify opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and service levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software systems (e.g., MS Excel, Access, MS Word & PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
  • Clear history of exercising, sound business judgment and clear decision-making.
  • Basic Qualifications :

    High School Degree and Fourteen Years' Experience OR

    Associate's degree and Twelve Years Experience OR

    Bachelor's Degree and Ten Years' Experience OR

    Masters' Degree and Eight Years' Experience OR

    PhD and Two Years' Experience

    Preferred Qualifications :

    BS / BA Degree plus 10+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, preferably in Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices

    Proficiency in conversational and written English is required to perform essential job functions.
