Service Associate - Make Ready

Job Summary

Responsibilities include preparation of vacant apartment homes for move-ins and ensuring that established standards are met and apartments are timely turned. When needed, will assist with pool maintenance and grounds keeping.

Reports To

Community Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
• Review the make‑ready board and take direction from the Community Manager and / or Maintenance Manager to determine action to be taken on apartment homes.
• Make all repairs / replacements necessary for the unit to be occupied as outlined on the make‑ready checklist.
• Apply touch‑up and full paints as needed to interior and exterior of apartment homes.
• Clean out all trash from apartment homes before, during and after make‑ready activity.
• Inspect completed apartment homes and schedule any necessary follow‑up work before designating the unit as “Ready”.
