About the Role
The Company is seeking a Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs to serve as the chief academic and student affairs officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of educational offerings, academic programs, student learning outcomes, enrollment management, and student support services. This role involves championing academic excellence, fostering innovation in teaching and learning, and ensuring that programs align with regional and statewide workforce priorities. The Provost will also be tasked with leading efforts to enhance the student experience, including fostering collaboration between academic programs and student support services, and leading strategic enrollment management efforts.
Applicants must have an earned terminal degree, a distinguished record in teaching, scholarship, and service, and experience in areas such as academic planning, program development, and student support services. The role requires a leader who can work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body, and who is committed to promoting a campus climate that supports the values of equity and inclusion. Essential functions include advising the President, overseeing strategic and operational planning, and ensuring institutional compliance with policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, experience in a collective bargaining environment, and a strong understanding of data-informed practices for student success and retention.
