A Travel Nurse RN specializes in providing critical care in the ICU, working 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling options. The role requires certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, and experience in critical care is mandatory. Nurses may encounter a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, and renal, while working within a unit that has 36 private beds.

  • Ratios 1 : 2 can go up to 1 : 30
  • Cerner
  • 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule - Days is Sat, Sun. Nights is Fri-Sat.
  • Scrub color : Navy Blue
  • 12 hour shifts - 0700- 1930, 1900 - 0730 - self scheduling
  • Floating - could possibly go to stepdown
  • Common diagnosis : respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, OB
  • MUST HAVE CRITICAL CARE EXPERIENCE
