Senior Accountant

Robert Half has teamed up with a leading manufacturer on their search for a Senior Accountant who can assist with the financial future of the company. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial reports, preparing financial statements, assisting the month end close process, analyzing financial data, processing client billings, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate for this role will have excellent leadership abilities, sharp analytical skills, command of the month end process, excellent time management experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Develop and uphold internal financial and accounting policies to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Support the monthly close process by meeting reporting deadlines and adhering to quarterly requirements.
• Collaborate with the regional controller to provide corporate accounting services to regional leadership.
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed for annual audits conducted by external auditors.
• Provide supporting documentation for direct and indirect tax filings specific to your region.
• Perform reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
• Participate in updating policies and procedures, creating detailed process flows to accommodate growth and scalability.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned to meet organizational objectives.
