is hiring a Founding Data Scientist.

Seeking a true

“player-coach” , offering the opportunity to shape the data science function from the ground up while remaining hands‑on in analytics, modeling, and product collaboration.

What You’ll Do

Establish the data function :

build systems, tools, best practices, and a long‑term data strategy

Hands‑on analytics and modeling :

develop predictive and optimization models, perform ad‑hoc analyses, and prototype ML applications

Collaborate across teams :

work closely with product, engineering, and clinical leaders to uncover trends, inform features, and drive measurable outcomes

Client‑facing insights :

analyze healthcare data, create dashboards, and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Leadership growth :

act as a “player‑coach,” mentoring future data hires as the team expands

What We’re Looking For

8+ years in data science or advanced analytics

Advanced proficiency in

Python and SQL

Experience with

healthcare datasets

(claims, EMR / EHR)

Strong statistical modeling and ML knowledge (scikit‑learn, StatsModels, PyTorch)

Comfortable with ambiguity, able to own end‑to‑end data initiatives, and influence product / clinical decisions

Strong communication skills for cross‑functional and external stakeholder engagement

Python, R, scikit‑learn, StatsModels, PyTorch, SQL, healthcare claims + EMR / EHR data, ICD / CPT / HCPCS, BI tools
